hi peeps. im so back. yes. owe you guys swensen's, my cuzz's wedding pics, and my msia holiday. i tink im using flickr. then u guys can see the pics as u want. too many pics la. lol.

(n amalina, i now noe where salleh went. took a semester break. n i really think now it is really my fault. check zakiah's friendster. n zakiah, that game rocks? hahahaha)

okie. so i went to t'ganu since wednesday, 12/3, till fri 11 15pm, when i reached woodlands checkpoint. we went to terengganu, then on the way back, stopped at cherating for 1 night, then continued to singapore. spore-terengganu is ard a 12-hour drive. did some research before going and i guessed tganu was soemthing to look forward to. n i tink i gained a lil weight. i dun dare weigh myself. havent got the guts.

1st day
went out from spore at around 5.30, reached checkpoint like around 4.45. we travelled all the way to terengganu, stopping for breakfast at tanjung gemuk (mentang-mentang aku datang) and south of terengganu for early dinner. kuala terengganu was somewhere in the middle of terengganu (our destination). we didnt use the conventional north-south highway. it couldnt take us to k.tganu. we used the federal road, the road which is always parallel to the sea. so there was seaview all the way. but scary. we were overtaking here and there. sometimes, we would have to overtake cement mixers, large lorries and the road was only one lane huge. we had to go into the opposing lane to overtake. malaysian drivers do have the balls, oops, guts to overtake. if i were them, i wouldnt but time wasnt on our side. if we wasted time, we would be travelling in the dark later.

so we stayed at hotel seri malaysia kuala terengganu. not bad. the room rates were affordable, and it looked pleasing enough. you noe sumtimes some hotels or homestays just give you this sick and creepy feeling. but seri msia was inviting and friendly.

n my nightmare began. i was frankly scared coz the moment i stepped into the room, i coughed real bad. before, i was pretty healthy and was dreaming of shopping.

so this day and the next day, were the historical days where for the first time in my living life, my blue reliever failed me badly. it has never failed me before and has always allowed me to breathe normally again. but this time, after even 6 straight doses, it did. scary siakkk. i was imagining lots of things. i was thinking of all my friends, amalina, salleh, girlfriends, ying, all my friends old and new, of my cousins. i was imagining horrible things, like my parents bringing back my body to singapore. LOL. see what lack of oxygen makes your brain do.

the next day, we even went shopping before i said to my mum i think im gonna faint and i need a pharmacy now. i din really speak for the whole morning. i was drenched in cold sweat and my legs were like jelly already. then, we went to this pharmacy (god bless the pharmacy and the best pharmacist i have ever seen) and i said that the stupid blue inhaler was ineffective. i had to buy the new turbohaler.

omg. it seriously looks erotic. LOLOL. serious. if u happen to chance upon me, ask to look at the turbohaler. if i wasnt having asthma, i would have laughed out loud!! he said it is now the first and currently most effective treatment (better than the dragon-nose reliever, or nabuliser) which gurantees total relief in a matter of seconds. american A&Es have used this to treat asthma as first and last resort. wat more it is a preventer too.

and so i almost cried when i took the first dose. my eyes were tearing in happiness. i felt as fit and felt air rush back into my lungs fully. i was shocked. never had an inhaler done such a thing. oxygen is the most precious gift of god for all living things. treasure it, never take it for granted. i was beyond grateful for the second chance at oxygen. i almost cried in front of the pharmacist because i could breathe normally again. the stabbbing pains were also gone! wow. i owe medicine and science a lot. and yeah, it cost a cool RM 124. but what is RM 124 as compared to getting oxygen and living again? it left a bitter taste on my tongue, a lil worse than bile, but i din care coz i just breathed again.

we went to pantai burok (its just a name, its not actually ugly. in fact, its the direct opposite) and flew kites. never flown one before. and so, u guys can just imagine my 'jakun'ness with asri's doraemon kite. and youre not allowed to swim there. and i tink people who are stupid enough to do so are really mentally unstable. the waves crashing onto the beach are ferocious and terrifying. the sound of them approaching and crashing the beach is enough to instill a glimmer of nasty thoughts and fear. i have nevr seen such waters. changi and east coast is no match for Burok. however, thats the beauty of nature isnt it? the sands were gorgeous, but difficult to walk in. i tink we could lose weight and gain muscles just by walking in them. no, make that crawl.

we went to sekayu waterfall which was about 32 km away. i was so terkilan that i couldnt mandi la coz im a huge fan of water, and im a water baby. LOL.. i din bring extra clothes along and i tink it is stupid to go into the waterfall when youre having..... courtesy la sikit.. n we all camwhored. bibik yah's family and mine. and two toads just had to camouflage just one meter away from me. luckily i was a fan of nature n din really scream or drop the didgital cam into the gushing water. i just stared at them and saw how we were so oblivious to its presence for a full 2 hours til we realised.

food in tganu is not bad. but i prefer KL and JB's. LOL. not much variety, but is okay i guess if u wanna spend ur money on shopping. tganu is for women. shopping, beach slumber.. wooh. i can stay there all my life. food i can live without? LOLOL

3rd day
SHOPPING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! pasar payang rocks!!! all the kain ela.. all the batik kain.. enough to make me drool in happiness. all that knick knacks and souvenirs, tudung ikat, tudung.. now taht i was oxygenated, i went around and indulged in LOOKING at the batiks. haiz. so expensive. you must be able to know the lobangs for cheap but beautiful and good quality batiks and silks. woohoo. however, i think the vendors should learn from singaporean vendors. i think good service is supremely important. i always test the vendors before buying anything. if they are friendly, i would go on to see and buy. if not, i'll walk off. i told my mum about this plan, and she said, ya ah, should do that seh. wat for we give them good money if the service is lousy?

and so, after lunch, we drove to cherating.
(NEXT ENTRY: CHERATING-SINGAPORE)

n before i leave you guys to ponder, heres a song by Hattan, Memburu Rindu.
Ke manakah hatimu kala aku
menanti kata cinta
mengalir air mata
kala sepi tiba

Terasakah langkahmu makin laju
melangkah batas rindu
dan aku pun memburu
mentari yang jauh

Berikanlah masa untukku
mendendengkan kasih dalam syahdu
tidak terhenti pilu di dadaku
terlepas bayangmu

Ku genggam angin semalam
ku simpan jadi nyanyian
ku peluk bayang hitamku
menjadi kamus mimpiku
